Patagonia Immersion
Don't just visit Patagonia. Live inside it.
But immersion also means knowing when to stop. A picnic beside a quiet lake. Time on a beach surrounded by forest. Sunset over Lácar. A long dinner after an active day. Moments when nothing needs to happen except being there.
This is not Patagonia seen from the outside. It is an invitation to find its rhythm.

Highlights of This Experience
Make San Martín de los Andes your Patagonian home. Rather than changing hotels every night, we settle into one place and explore outward from it. San Martín provides something increasingly rare in travel: the opportunity to become familiar with a destination rather than constantly leaving it behind.
Discover Lácar from land and water. Walk toward panoramic viewpoints above the lake before changing perspective and navigating across its waters toward Quila Quina. Forest, mountains, beaches and open water become different expressions of the same landscape.
Experience Patagonia in motion. A bicycle ride introduces another pace: fast enough to cover ground, slow enough to notice how the landscape changes. Later, Lago Lolog invites the opposite: stop moving, find a place beside the water and stay awhile.
Travel the legendary Seven Lakes Road. One of Argentina’s great scenic roads links a succession of lakes, forests, rivers and mountain viewpoints.
Move from the mountains to horseback. Explore the forested environment of Cerro Chapelco on foot before changing pace again later in the day. A guided horseback ride through mountain trails toward a panoramic viewpoint brings a distinctly Patagonian way of moving through the land.
Allow Patagonia to slow down. Not every day needs to be an adventure. The final part of the journey deliberately creates room for a lakeside walk, regional flavors, relaxation, wandering through town and a final Patagonian dinner.
Who This Journey Is For
For travelers who want to experience Patagonia rather than collect it. Patagonia Immersion favors depth over distance. We explore a smaller territory in different ways instead of racing between famous destinations.
For people who enjoy being active outdoors. Walking, cycling, navigation and horseback riding are part of the experience, but this is not an expedition. Activities are accessible and can be adapted so that movement adds to the journey rather than dominating it.
For travelers who need both movement and stillness. An active morning might end with lunch overlooking a lake. A bicycle ride can give way to an afternoon on a quiet beach. Exploration and contemplation are intentionally given equal importance.
For those who appreciate flexibility. Weather, energy and the mood of the group matter in Patagonia. The itinerary gives us a structure, but not a rigid script. When conditions suggest changing the plan, we change it.
For travelers looking for a more intimate Patagonia. The great landscapes are here, but so are the smaller experiences: a forest trail, a regional pastry, a picnic beside the water, a conversation over dinner or the particular silence of a Patagonian lake.
What Is Included
A comfortable base in San Martín de los Andes. Carefully selected accommodation allows us to unpack once and experience the region from a true base rather than constantly moving between hotels.
Different ways to explore. Guided walks, cycling, lake navigation, the Seven Lakes journey, the Chapelco experience and horseback riding are integrated into the program, creating a different relationship with the landscape each day.
Private transportation and complete logistics. Airport transfers and transportation required throughout the journey are included, together with the coordination of activities, guides and reservations.
The daily rhythm of the journey. Breakfast begins each day, lunches are incorporated naturally into the day’s route and dinners bring us back together after exploring. Food is not treated simply as logistics, but as another moment to enjoy Patagonia.
Local knowledge. Guides provide context about the forests, lakes, mountains and local environment while allowing enough space for travelers to experience those places for themselves.
Domestic and international flights to and from Patagonia are not included.
Optional Experiences
Take Patagonia further on foot. For travelers wanting more physical challenge, selected walks can be replaced or extended with longer trekking routes into the forests and mountains surrounding San Martín de los Andes.
Go deeper by bicycle. The cycling experience can become a more substantial ride, adapting distance, elevation and terrain to the group’s ability.
Spend more time on the water. Depending on conditions and season, additional lake experiences can transform an afternoon into a more active exploration by kayak or private navigation.
Enter the mountains on horseback. A longer riding experience can take the journey beyond the introductory trails and deeper into the Patagonian countryside.
Make room for recovery. Spa treatments or massage can be incorporated between active days, creating a deliberate transition from physical exploration to rest.
